Today while I was trying to get some pictures while Lily had some tummy time on my bed she did an amazing thing.

You wanted to be picked up and got mad that I wanted just one more picture, so you showed me. You turned over!! So I put back on your tummy and clapped. Yay Lily!!! And then
twice
You did it again!
Way to go kiddo.

My five week old SOMETIMES manages to half-roll onto her side when she’s pissed — I can just imagine her at 13 weeks flopping around like a damned fish out of water. That must have been a pretty surprising thing for you to see her do twice.
Lily is adorable… I love the sort of expectant, “whatcha doing mom?” look on her face in that first pic.

It was pretty surprising. She rolled over once before but I think it was totally an accident.
She gives me that look quite often. It usually goes along with a lot of babble which I;m sure would probably translate to “whatcha doing mom?”
