We are almost done with these zoo updates folks, I swear. We are up to November of last year.
I guess I only had one picture from November worth posting.
Christmas eve at the zoo.
We didn’t go to zoo as much this winter as we had last year. It was much colder this year and we just weren’t up for it. So we are now at April of this year.
I made a scavenger hunt for the zoo. Lily loved it and wants to do more.
My Pop (Grandpa for those of you not in the know) has a way with stringed instruments. All my life he’s loved to get together with his buddies and do some serious Pickin’ and Grinnin’. For the last few years he gets together with some of those buddies and they play every Friday night. My cousin Bobi was visiting last week and went to listen to the Pickin’ and gave me the ok to post these. Pop’s on the right playing his mandolin. He also plays the fiddle and some guitar. I think he can play just about any stringed instrument, but the mandolin and fiddle are his favorites.

And while I’m posting about food; I saw this hummus at Costco and when I was reading the label I couldn’t help but laugh and buy it. It’s made with love, what’s not to like?

Lily took this picture of some of the backyard flowers.
Lily with my Mother’s Day card. She wrote Happy Mother’s Day at the bottom of Waldo’s message all by herself. Waldo had to tell her how to spell it and help with the S, otherwise it was all Lil.
Lily loves to do yoga. I do too so this doesn’t surprise me, but I have to be honest I don’t love to do yoga with Lily. She likes to do it with me, which means that shes literally under me most of the time. It’s really had to do downward facing dog with Lily’s little butt in my belly. So I was really glad when Waldo found a yoga YouTube sequence that Lil loves to do by herself.
I highly recommend the Cosmic Kids Yoga. The girl that presents is really good and Lily loves her. She makes it fun and fast paced for the kiddos.
