This is the middle right square of Lily’s special quilt. I believe Rita told me that all the grandkid’s quilts share a few features and this boy is one of them.

A snippet
Here’s a snippet of our daily life.
Waldo was hanging out with Lily when I went to do the dishes. I walked into the living room to ask a question and found the two of them in front of Waldo’s computer getting ready to watch Yo Gabba Gabba. Waldo wanted to see what Lil would think of the bright colors and what not. Apparently the real person host was singing a bubble song and blowing bubbles. Waldo asked me to grab the bubble solution from the other room. As the host blew bubbles so did I. It was interactive tv to the max.
Time for myself
Like most if not all the Mama’s out there I need to take more time for myself and take better care of myself. I used to take bubble baths that I spiked with lovely scents and had a lot of fun making bath salts and other yummy bath goodies. I need to break out my recipes and make some more bath fizzies and face scrubs.
I haven’t made any yummy bath goodies yet but tonight I decided to start small. We just bought a big bag of baking soda from Costco so I went and got a little cup of it and took it in the shower with me. I mixed some of my face cleaner with the baking soda and scrubbed away. My face is so nice and smooth right now, I love it.
Baking soda is a wonderful natural do-it-all product. Like I said I mixed some with my face cleaner tonight. I’ve also use some mixed with a little honey as a great face scrub. Oh a little bit mixed with a couple of un-coated aspirin make a great pore cleaning mask. I could go on and on about this, I won’t today but look for more in the future.
You are the apple of our eye
This is the upper right corner of Lily special quilt. Grandma Rita (Waldo’s Mom) made it for Lily. She makes one for each grandchild and they are amazing. Rita puts so much love into every little detail, you can feel the love pour off in waves as you try to take it all in.
This is the first in the quilt series. I’ll continue this on Tuesday and Thursday of the next couple of weeks.
62 weeks old
In the morning I put Lily in the Ergo on my back and decided to take a couple of pictures to see what she looked like back there. I thought they turned out really cute.
And my favorite
She is always doing this arch back thing so the other day I made Waldo look it all over and assure me she wouldn’t fall out while doing it. He was very certain she was fine.
